About Us
Heatherwood Middle School opened in 1989. The two-story school is nestled in the city of Mill Creek, surrounded by forest. The community uses Heatherwood Middle School facilities and campus year-round, taking advantage of numerous athletic/recreation facilities, including two gymnasiums, soccer, softball/baseball, football fields, track, tennis courts, an outdoor covered basketball court, and interpretive trail.
SCHOOL HOURS:
- Regular Hours: 8:10 a.m. - 2:50 p.m.
- Early Release: 12:20 p.m. dismissal
- Learning Improvement Friday: 1:35 pm dismissal
- Main Office Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 4 p.m.
OUR MISSION
The purpose of Heatherwood Middle School is to provide relevant, rigorous, engaging learning experiences for our students in a safe, caring, collaborative community.
